What a crazy week it's been! =) A lot to do at work but we finally got a problem resolved today that we were having fore two weeks so that provides me with a great sense of relief, however my second tennis match was tonight and the short version is that I lost the match (1-6, 3-6). I was pretty excited to have been placed in the Singles slot for today's matches but knew going in that it would be tough, and well it looks like I've still got a lot of work ahead of me and lots of practicing! I want to become consistent enough that "being tired" is not an excuse. Although now I can no longer say that I am undefeated, only after the second match, I think it will help me find the drive to keep playing and improve. I don't think I mentioned this before but I went to tryouts and joined the Aces Tennis team recently after moving to the Seattle area and Friday was my very first official USTA match! I played in the 2nd Doubles with my new friend Sergei as my partner and we won! Definitely looking forward to my next match, which might be as soon as next Friday.

Hey everyone! It's been a pretty hectic week around here (not from BattleSweeper, fortunately) but I am excited to announce that our game has been approved and is finally available for everyone to download, play, and hopefully buy! Up until now, I've kept this site pretty much limited to just projects and work I had done, but that's really not too interesting, and it doesn't reflect me very accurately to include all of the non-computer related things I love and think about (and it's really hard to write about!). So here is to breaking this tradition for a beginning of a new era for this website. I will be posting more often but it will most likely not be just about software, games, or projects. Happy February, everyone! I can't believe the new year is already in full swing. Well, just as an update to everyone, Studio Guinea Pig's first game, BattleSweeper, is getting ready to be put up for review very soon and we are just wrapping up last bits, after long sessions of testing the multiplayer and adding some finishing touches. We can't wait to show it to everyone, so get excited!
