U.S. Open News: 9th Seed, Caroline Wozniacki!
If you've been listening to any news today regarding the world of tennis, the big highlight today was the Quarterfinals match between the Danish 9th Seed, Caroline Wozniacki, and the American unseeded Melanie Oudin, the "Cinderella Story". Being an evening match in New York at the U.S. Open, the clear crowd favorite was Oudin who has been playing a solid, defensive game so far, but I think a lot remains to be also said about the Danish tennis star, Caroline!
For Denmark, Caroline is the highest-ranked tennis player they've ever had and she continues to push ahead at the age of 19, making to the women's semifinals at the U.S. Open this week. She's got a wonderful serve and amazing consistency and skill, and greatest of all is her positive attitude with a smile as consistent as her forehand. A huge congratulations to her for getting to the semifinals for the first time at a grand slam and best of luck to her; we'll be cheering! Definitely keep an eye out for this fashionable tennis star!
