Well here's to the last weekend I'll be in VA for a while. Preparations for my travels have begun... duh-duh-dun. Also today was discovering a new fruit/vegetable/something called a Chayote at the Asian grocery store. It looks like it'll open its mouth and eat your hand.

The wal-mart near my parents' house was revamped recently and it looks amazing from both inside and outside. There's a full grocery store along with everything else and as always, prices are as good as it gets. So I woke up my little brother at wee hours of the night to go check it out for Black Friday and browsed for some time, got to hang out with him, and do my first Black Friday shopping in a very long time. What we got: a Ninja Blender for $18. My mother saw it getting ready for Black Friday earlier during the week when getting some Thanksgiving groceries and she had been talking about it prior for a while from the TV commercials so BAM.
